Boeing (BA) will delay deliveries of some 737 MAX planes after discovering a wiring problem on newly built aircraft, The Wall Street Journal’s Drew FitzGerald reports. The company found scratched wiring in undelivered planes, tracing the issue to a machining error, which could slow deliveries this month, according to the report. A Boeing spokeswoman said the fixes could be completed in a matter of days on each plane, adding that Boeing plans to stick to its goal to deliver over 500 of the 737 MAX planes to customers this year.
