A law professor is suing Boeing (BA), alleging lasting brain and respiratory injuries from a toxic fume event on a Delta (DAL) 737 flight, The Wall Street Journal’s Benjamin Katz reports. This lawsuit is the first led by a passenger against Boeing regarding a commercial flight fume event, seeking $40M in damages. Fume-event reports on Boeing and Airbus (EADSY) aircraft were almost 10 times more common in 2024 than a decade earlier, with 22 daily in the U.S., the report notes.
