Activision Blizzard’s (ATVI) 2023 role-playing game “Diablo IV” is coming to Steam on October 17 following releases earlier in the year on PlayStation 5 (SONY), PS4, Xbox Series X/S (MSFT), Xbox One, and PC via Blizzard’s Battle.net service, The Verge’s Ash Parrish reports. The move is in line with other Blizzard efforts to stop locking PC titles to its proprietary Battle.net service, as the company put “Overwatch 2” on Steam earlier this year as well, the author notes.
