BlackRock (BLK) set to tell staff as early as Thursday that its roughly 1,000 senior managers must return to the office five days a week, The Financial Times’ Daniel Thomas and Harriet Agnew report, citing two people familiar with the matter. Since 2023, staff has been required to attend in person at least four days a week. The decision reflects the company’s desire to strengthen collaboration and to ensure that managing directors are leading teams in person to best serve clients, one of the people says.
