BK Technologies receives two purchase order for BKR 5000 radios

BK Technologies Corporation announced that it has received two orders from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection totaling $9.1 million, for the purchase of BKR 5000 portable radios. These orders are a part of the agency’s life cycle replacement program and represent a continuation of the migration from BK’s KNG Series Portables. To date, CAL FIRE has purchased more than 6,500 BKR 5000 radios since they began the migration from the KNG Portable Series radio in 2022.
