Many startups have been left as shells of their former selves, which can lead to issues since innovation is made by a combination of top researchers as well as employees who handle sales, marketing, human resources, and engineering teams. Companies in the space include Microsoft (MSFT), Meta (META), Amazon (AMZN), and Google (GOOGL).
