Current Health co-founder Chris McGhee has reacquired the at-home care company from Best Buy (BBY). In a post to the Current Health blog, McGhee stated in part: “Today, I am sharing that Current Health is once more an independent business and that I am returning as CEO & Co-Founder to build Current Health into the world’s largest healthcare organization. A number of former members of my team, including my co-founder Stewart Whiting, are also returning… Current Health has become the leading platform for hospital-at-home, oncology-at-home-including cell and gene therapies-and in a number of other care-at-home markets… We’re proud of the work we’ve done so far and look forward to the next phase of this journey. We’ll be recommitting to our mission and building a world-leading organization with an integrated and intelligent solution for shifting more healthcare into home and community settings.”
