Barrick Mining (B) is in negotiations with the government of Mali to end a two-year dispute that shuttered the company’s Loulo-Gounkoto gold mine in the country, people with knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg’s Jacob Lorinc and Katarina Hoije. The parties are close to finalizing a deal and if an agreement is reached it would mark the end of a dispute that’s weighed on Barrick for more than a year, the report noted.
