Barrick Mining (B) has withdrawn its Mali gold complex from its overall production forecast for 2025, adding to fallout from a two-year dispute over new mining legislation, Reuters’ Divya Rajagopal and Portia Crowe report, citing four sources. Operations at the Loulo-Gounkoto gold complex have been halted since January after the military-led government blocked gold exports from the miner, detained workers, and seized three metric tons of stock, the authors note.
