BankUnited (BKU) announced its succession plan for the role of CFO. James G. Mackey will join the company as senior executive vice president, reporting to BankUnited chairman, president and CEO Rajinder Singh, effective August 15. He will assume the role of CFO on November 1. Mackey will succeed longtime CFO Leslie Lunak, who plans to retire effective January 1, 2026, after a distinguished tenure with the company.
