Baker Hughes reports U.S. rig count up two from last week to 585

Baker Hughes (BKR) reports the U.S. rig count is up two from last week to 585 with oil rigs up one to 481, gas rigs up one to 98, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at six. The U.S. rig count is down 34 rigs from last year’s count of 619 with oil rigs down 30, gas rigs down eight, and miscellaneous up four. The U.S. offshore rig count is unchanged at 13, down seven year-over-year.
