Baidu (BIDU) is preparing to test its driverless ride-hailing service, Apollo Go, in Europe for the first time, The Wall Street Journal’s Raffaele Huang and Tracy Qu report. Baidu is in talks with Switzerland’s PostAuto to launch Apollo Go and plans to launch in Turkey amid rising domestic competition, according to people familiar with the matter.
