Baidu (BIDU) has filed a patent with the China National Intellectual Property Administration, CNIPA, that proposes a system to convert animal vocalizations into the human language, Liam Mo and Brenda Goh of Reuters reports, citing the patent document. Baidu’s patent represents the latest efforts to decode animal communication by leveraging AI.
