RBC Capital lowered the firm’s price target on Badger Meter (BMI) to $191 from $229 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The company delivered a modest Q4 operating beat driven by better gross margins, though its 2% organic growth missed the firm’s 7% estimate, the analyst tells investors in a research note. RBC adds however that Badger impressively won one of the world’s largest AMI deployment contracts in Puerto Rico, covering 1.6 million service connections.
