Autodesk (ADSK) is suing Alphabet’s (GOOG) (GOOGL) Google, claiming the search giant infringes its “Flow” trademark to market competing AI-enabled software to create moves, TV shows, and video games, Reuters’ Jonathan Stempel reports. In a complaint filed late last week in San Francisco federal court, Autodesk said it started using Flow in September 2022 for visual effects, production management, and other products, and was shocked when Google released Flow software in May 2025 that targets the same customers, the author notes.
