AT&T (T) is in talks to acquire Lumen Technologies’ (LUMN) consumer fiber operations, people with knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg’s Gillian Tan, Michelle Davis and Liana Baker. The companies are in exclusive discussions about a transaction valuing the unit at more than $5.5B, said one of the sources. Shares of Lumen are down nearly 12% in afternoon trading.
