Stifel lowered the firm’s price target on Atlas Energy (AESI) to $14 from $14.50 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares after Q2 results and the Q3 outlook were weaker-than-anticipated. Near-term headwinds from lackluster U.S. completion activity and lower frac sand prices persist, but the Power Generation segment is gaining momentum and the firm believes the quarterly dividend “appears safe,” the analyst tells investors.
