In a regulatory filing, AquaBounty Technologies disclosed that on June 6, after the conclusion of the Annual Meeting of Stockholders of the company and as part of the company’s long-term succession planning process, the board of directors of the company appointed David Melbourne as Chief Executive Officer of the company, effective June 7, replacing Sylvia Wulf, who provided notice of her retirement from her role as Chief Executive Officer on June 6, effective June 7. Wulf will continue to serve on the board as a director and as non-executive board dhair, and Melbourne will continue to serve as the company’s President. “Wulf has confirmed that her retirement is not due to a disagreement with the company on any matter relating to the company’s operations, policies or practices. Mr. Melbourne, age 57, was appointed President of the Company in August 2023. He joined the Company in June 2019 as Chief Commercial Officer,” the filing noted.
