Morgan Stanley raised the firm’s price target on Aptiv (APTV) to $87 from $84 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. The firm refreshed its sum-of-the-parts framework ahead of Aptiv’s spin of its Electrical Distribution Systems business into a newly formed entity, Versigent, noting that it $87 price target for Aptiv pre-spin attributes $70 per share of value for New Aptiv and $17 per share for EDS.
