Brian Lynch, Apple’s (AAPL) senior director in charge of home devices since 2022, is leaving to join Oura Health Oy as senior vice president of hardware engineering, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports. Apple’s home devices division, which has been struggling to make headway in the smart home market and has experienced product delays, has been preparing a major push into smart home technology, including an advanced display with artificial intelligence and facial recognition, and Lynch had been overseeing the hardware side of the new devices, Gurman writes.
