Apple (AAPL) has cautioned that “EU-style rules” proposed by the UK Competition and Markets Authority “are bad for users and bad for developers”, the BBC’s Chris Vallance reports, citing a statement by the company. The tech giant said EU laws, which looked to make it easier for smaller businesses to compete with big tech, have caused some Apple features and enhancements to be delayed for European users, and if the UK pushes forward with regulations, it faces similar risks.
