Apple (AAPL) is looking to increase the production of its recently launched entry-level model of iPhone 17 and has told at least two suppliers to increase their output by at least 30%, The Information reports, citing people familiar with the matter. The report notes that this suggests greater demand for the cheaper $799 iPhone 17 model rather than the premium Pro model retailing for $1,099 or more.
