Apple (AAPL) is preparing to allow third-party developers to write software using its artificial intelligence models to spur the creation of new applications, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, citing people with knowledge of the matter. The company is working on a software development kit and related frameworks that will let outsiders build AI features based on the large language models used for Apple Intelligence, said the sources. Apple expects to unveil the plan on June 9 at its Worldwide Developers Conference, the report added.
