Apple (AAPL) testing a standalone app for its Siri voice assistant alongside a new “Ask Siri” feature that will work across the company’s software, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Apple is modernizing Siri by giving it a fresh look and chatbot-like experience, according to the report, citing people with knowledge of the matter. The new Siri is slated to be unveiled June 8 at the iPhone maker’s Worldwide Developers Conference as part of the iOS 27 and macOS 27 operating systems, the report stated.
