Nearly four years after rolling out a security feature called Lockdown Mode, Apple (AAPL) said it hasn’t yet seen a case where a user’s device was hacked with such security protections switched on, TechCrunch’s Lorenzo Franceschi-Bicchierai reports. “We are not aware of any successful mercenary spyware attacks against a Lockdown Mode-enabled Apple device,” Apple spokesperson Sarah O’Rourke told TechCrunch.
