Apple (AAPL) has set an internal release target of spring 2026 for its delayed upgrade of Siri, which will allow the voice assistant to tap into consumers’ personal data and on-screen activities, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports. The revamped Siri will be part of an iOS 26.4 software update, with an exact date not yet set, but potentially previewed at the next iPhone launch in the fall, according to people with knowledge of the matter. The upgrade has been delayed multiple times, Gurman notes.
