Apple (AAPL), which had then planned to release a smart home display, code-named J490, this month, when it hoped the new Siri would be ready, is seeing its artificial intelligence struggles rippling through its product plans, forcing the company to delay the smart home display launch until later this year, people with knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The product was first scheduled for spring 2025, but was postponed to let the company finish work on a new Siri digital assistant, the report noted.
