Apple (AAPL) is planning to unveil a wave of AI features for its next iPhone and iPad operating systems, including a grammar check feature and new shortcut options as part of efforts to rival capabilities available on competing devices, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports. The features are set to release with iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, including new AI-powered writing tools, the ability to make systemwide shortcuts using natural language, and custom wallpaper generation, the author says, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
