BofA analyst Wamsi Mohan reports that the firm’s tracking of iPhone ship dates on Apple’s (AAPL) own website and various carrier websites indicates that ship time in days for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models are extended compared to last year at this point in the pre-order cycle as of September 15, or three days after preorders started. Ship dates for the iPhone 17 are more extended compared to last year’s iPhone 16 and the ship dates for the iPhone 17 are the highest since the iPhone 11, according to the analyst, who reiterates a Buy rating and $270 price target on Apple shares.
