Apple (AAPL) is planning an AI-powered battery management mode for iOS 19 to use artificial intelligence technology to address frequent complaints about the iPhone’s battery life, sources told Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. An enhancement planned to come with an iPhone software update due in September will analyze how a person uses their device and make adjustments to conserve energy, said the sources. Shares of Apple are 6.3% higher in afternoon trading.
