Apple (AAPL) has developed a ChatGPT-like iPhone app, code-named Veritas, or Latin for “truth,” to help test a long-anticipated overhaul of Siri coming next year, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The AI division is using the app to quickly evaluate new features for Apple’s voice-powered assistant and the software is meant for internal use, at least for now, with Apple having no current plans to release it to consumers, the report said.
