Apple (AAPL) granted out-of-cycle bonuses worth several hundred thousand dollars to iPhone hardware designers, as OpenAI and others poach its engineers, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports. The bonuses were issued as stock units that vest over four years, and are worth roughly $200,000 to $400,000 over the full vesting period, according to people familiar with the matter.
