Apple (AAPL) is aiming to import most iPhones it sells in the U.S. from India by the end of next year, accelerating its shift away from manufacturing in China, Sankalp Phartiyal, Alisha Sachdev, and Jane Lanhee Lee of Bloomberg reports. The goal would double its annual iPhone output in India to over 80M units, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.
