Roth Capital downgraded APA Corp. (APA) to Neutral from Buy with a $22 price target The firm is concerned that global oil prices are poised to head lower in the near term and sees risk to the downside for oil in the first half of 2026 as well, the analyst tells investors. The firm expects added volumes from OPEC+ to put global oil markets into “quite an oversupplied state” and also thinks the global oil demand outlook is uncertain right now due to the current tariff war, both of which are likely to result in rising global oil inventory levels in the second half of 2025, the analyst added.
