Anthropic plans to invest $200M in a new venture with private equity firms that looks to sell AI tools to their portfolio companies amid a push for business customers, the Wall Street Journal’s Berber Jin, Lauren Thomas, and Kate Clark report, citing people familiar with the matter. General Atlantic, Blackstone (BX) and Hellman & Friedman are among firms in talks to back the startup, which is in discussions to raise $1B, including Anthropic’s expected contribution.
