JonesResearch analyst Jason Weaver raised the firm’s price target on Annaly Capital (NLY) to $25 from $22 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The firm notes the company reported results above consensus estimates. JonesResearch would expect Annaly to grow leverage modestly over the near term “once we gain more clarity from a policy angle,” as well as continue to expand its residential credit allocation with securitization funding remaining widely available and attractively priced.
