William Blair analyst says the valuation of Anduril in its latest round of funding is positive for AeroVironment (AVAV) and Karman (KRMN). Anduril has closed a funding round of $2.5B, which raises its valuation to $30.5B, the company’s Executive Chairman Trae Stephens said in an interview on Bloomberg Television. In addition, Ukraine’s drone attack on Russian airfields showed the “transformational nature of drones on the battlefield,” William Blair tells investors in a research note. The firm points out AeroVironment’s CEO said at a conference this week that the company has drones with a similar launching mechanism to what Ukraine used in its attack. Shares of AeroVironment are up 6% in midday trading to $198.14. Karman is up 2% to $46.95.
