Amprius Technologies (AMPX) announced its selection for the 2025 cohort of Amazon’s (AMZN) Amazon Devices Climate Tech Accelerator. The program supports companies developing technologies to help reduce the carbon footprint of Amazon’s devices. Amprius said its SiCore battery platform was selected based on its potential to deliver up to 80% higher energy density than conventional lithium-ion batteries. Amprius CEO Kang Sun stated the program is a valuable opportunity to engage with Amazon’s teams and explore how its technology could provide more efficient energy solutions.
