Citi raised the firm’s price target on Amphenol (APH) to $89 from $82 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The company reported a “clean” Q4 beat with above-consensus Q1 sales and earnings guidance, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm estimates artificial intelligence sales represented $450M-$500M in Q4 and thinks order momentum accelerated during the quarter. It expects AI spending momentum, coupled with cyclical recovery in traditional data centers and accretive acquisitions, should accelerate Amphenol’s earnings growth rates.
