DA Davidson raised the firm’s price target on American Public Education (APEI) to $58 from $48 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The company reported solid Q4 results which, despite headwinds from the federal government shutdown in October/November, came in solidly ahead of guidance and expectations virtually for all metrics, revenue categories, and measures of profitability, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
