JPMorgan raised the firm’s price target on American Express (AXP) to $355 from $343 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares as part of a Q3 earnings preview for the consumer finance group. The firm sees a divergence between high-income and low-income consumer health. JPMorgan says emerging risks for low-income consumes make it more selective on the group.
