The company said, “American invented airline loyalty and continues to lead the industry by delivering more value per mile, more rewards and more reasons for customers to return. Enrollments in the AAdvantage program grew 7% year over year, resulting in the highest number of annual enrollments in the airline’s history. In 2025, spending on co-branded credit cards increased 8% year over year. During the fourth quarter, American successfully transitioned inflight and airport credit card acquisition channels to Citi as part of its exclusive and expanded partnership, which took effect at the beginning of 2026.”
