Ameresco (AMRC) announced its partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School District to develop and install solar shade and carport structures at five middle school campuses. The $20.7M bond-funded project will install over 2.7 MW of solar PV systems and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Ameresco will also provide operations and maintenance for the systems and a 25-year performance guarantee. The project is part of a larger initiative to install solar at 21 Los Angeles schools, supporting the district’s clean energy goals.
