Mizuho raised the firm’s price target on AMD (AMD) to $175 from $152 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The firm lifted semiconductor estimates to reflect the Trump administration announcement that Nvidia (NVDA) and other arterial intelligence Accelerator providers will be allowed to resume AI graphics processing unit shipments into China. China can now return to being a tailwind for U.S. companies re-entering the $50B market, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Mizuho views the news as a “big win” for Nvidia.
