Morgan Stanley lowered the firm’s price target on AMD (AMD) to $255 from $260 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. The firm was surprised at aftermarket weakness as “the numbers were quite good and AMD said the right stuff about the new products,” the analyst tells investors. However, while the company “said all of the right things on MI455,” rack scale “remains something of a show-me story for the stock to move higher,” the analyst added.
