The notion that AMD (AMD) is going to fab chips at Intel Foundry (INTC) is false, SemiAccurate’s Charlie Demerjian reports. A financial note went around saying otherwise earlier this week, though Demerjian said he asked multiple people on both sides who know and everyone said that such reporting is not true, with multiple sources even saying that it appears someone was “trying to cover a short.”
