AMD (AMD), Arm (ARM), and Qualcomm (QCOM) are investing $60M in Wayve as an extension of its $1.2B Series D round, joining a broad group of strategic and financial backers including major automakers and tech firms, TechCrunch’s Kristen Korosec reports. The round also includes milestone-based commitments such as Uber’s (UBER) additional $300M tied to robotaxi deployment in London using Wayve’s technology, Korosec writes.
