AMC Entertainment (AMC) announced an opening-weekend performance for Avatar: Fire & Ash at AMC’s U.S. theatres and internationally at Odeon Cinemas. Combined with solid performances from several other new releases and holdover films, AMC enjoyed its best pre-Christmas holiday weekend since 2021, based on attendance and admissions revenue. In total, more than 4M moviegoers watched a film at AMC Theatres and Odeon Cinemas from Thursday, December 18, through Sunday, December 21.
