JetBlue (JBLU) has agreed to use Amazon’s (AMZN) Project Kuiper satellite internet business to provide Wi-Fi service for 25% of its fleet, with some passengers gaining access to the service starting in 2027, The Wall Street Journal’s Micah Maidenberg reports. Amazon hasn’t started service for customers, but aims to begin testing a beta version of Kuiper later in 2025 or early next year, CEO Andy Jassy said on a recent investor call. Other companies in the satellite internet space include ViaSat (VSAT) and Elon Musk’s SpaceX.
