Amazon’s Amazon Web Services region in Bahrain was “disrupted” during the current conflict in the Middle East, Greg Bensinger of Reuters reports. The disruption is due to drone activity in the area, an Amazon spokesperson told Reuters. The company intends to mitigate customers to alternative Amazon Web Services regions while it recovers but has not provided additional details as to the extent of the damage or how long the disruption will last.
